In this book I’ve included recipes from the five main places that I have lived. New Zealand, Australia, Britain, Germany and Cyprus.

These are recipes that capture the foods of my childhood, recipes that bring to mind exotic flavours of the Near East, recipes for comfort food and classic dishes, and recipes that I cook, week in, week out, just because they are delicious. Most recipes serve four people comfortably, but are easily adapted to feed more or less.

Everyone has different likes and dislikes - so I encourage you to taste as you cook, and add more of what you like. I hope you enjoy cooking these recipes, and find them as tasty as I do.
